The Townsville Fire are excited to announce the signing of Piper Anderson as a development player for the upcoming2025/26 WNBL season.
A dynamic young guard with a strong work ethic and impressive potential, Piper joins the Fire following standout performances in the NBL1 East for the Sydney Comets averaging 19.4pts and 3.36 rebounds across. the NBL1 season.
Her speed, skill, and commitment to continual improvement have marked her asone of the rising talentsin women’s basketball.
Townsville Fire Head Coach Shannon Seebohm saidPiper’s addition was another step in the club’s commitment to developing the next generation of elite athletes.
“Piper is a hard-working and driven young player. She’s shown great potential, and this season will be a valuable opportunity for her to learn within a high- performance environment and contribute to our program.”
Piper said she was thrilled to be joining the Fire family.
