Fire take on Boomers at home
JCU Townsville Fire are searching for their first win of the season this Sunday at home against the Melbourne Boomers
Following a nail bitter against Canberra last Sunday and going down by only 2 points The JCU Townsville Fire are confident that they can get that first W this weekend.
Head Coach Shannon Seebohm said "Last Friday was my first time as Head Coach of the Fire at home, and I can now see why it is said that the Fire have the best fans in the league, it was great to see so many in the crowd, and I believe we had the biggest crowd of the round, myself and the players are committed to giving a stronger performance this Sunday for the fans."

Micaela Cocks - The JCU Townsville Fire's captain was inspirational last weekend, after suffering a fractured bone in her nose during the game against Adelaide, Cocks went on to have a massive impact in Sunday's game against Canberra, named MVP with 13 points 5 rebounds and 2 assists
